email Mrs. Wilkins

Mrs. Wilkins is currently a sixth grade teacher at Gonzales.  She began teaching in 2016 after earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico.

After growing up in Farmington, New Mexico, Mrs. Wilkins decided to become a teacher because she’s always loved being in school and learning and wanted to share her passion for learning with others.

Mrs. Wilkins and her family enjoy living in Santa Fe and have a great appreciation for Santa Fe’s many year-round outdoor activities, especially hiking and dirt bike riding. Santa Fe’s culture is very unique and the people are some of the friendliest Mrs. Wilkins has encountered.

She has loved snakes since she was a child, and has many ball pythons that she keeps at home. When it gets too cold to be outside, Mrs. Wilkins enjoys reading mystery and sci-fi/fantasy novels.

Mrs. Wilkins has been married to her best friend Kyle for nine years, and they have two daughters; Alice, six and Reagan, four.  Along with their ball pythons, they also have a French bulldog mix named Vader and a cat named Max.
