Ms. Flo Barnes, Paraprofessional

Ms. Barnes is currently an Educational Paraprofessional for the visually impaired.  During her 15 year teaching career with Santa Fe Public Schools, she has worked with kindergarten through seventh grade students.  She has been at Gonzales for two years.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Wesleyan College.  Additional education includes Level III EA license and substitute teacher license.  Ms. Barnes was born in St. Augustine, Florida and lived in Santa Fe for the past 30 years.  She has made Santa Fe her home for the beauty, arts and spirituality here.  Prior to moving to Santa Fe she also lived years in Santa Barbara, California.

Ms. Barnes is a published writer of news articles, poetry and essays.  She also spends her free-time creating art, writing, singing and enjoying nature.  Anniken and Rosie are her two well-behaved and exceptional cats.
