Ms. Pino is a National Board Certified Teacher and currently a fourth grade teacher at Gonzales. She began teaching in 2006 at Gonzales and has taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades throughout her career.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education K-8 and has attended New Mexico State University, Santa Fe Community College and the University of New Mexico. Ms. Pino became a teacher because she loves kids and loves working with them. She also wants to help guide our future generations to be excited about learning and to become good people.
Ms. Pino was born and raised in Santa Fe and attended Gonzales Elementary School, Alameda Junior High and graduated from Santa Fe High School. She has spent all 20 of her teaching years at Gonzales, and all four of her children have attended Gonzales. Gonzales is Ms. Pino’s home.
She enjoys being active, getting outside, and being with family and friends. She has a pet Lobo named LUCY. LUCY is big, smart, sporty, and she can bust a move. Her dog, Chelsea, frequently visits Gonzales, and loves to participate in the Pet Parade and cheer everyone on at the LOBO RIVER RUN.
